The Skiers Tote, made from 100% natural canvas one at a time in our studio right here in Vermont. It has two large side pockets, heavy duty 100% natural cotton handles a double layer bottom and all seams are double stitched for extra strength.
Construction
# 12 Cotton Duck. Cotton Duck or “numbered duck” canvas is a double fill fabric woven with a “plied yarn” construction. This weave creates a tighter, smoother texture than single fill cotton ducks. It also makes it somewhat more rigid and notably more durable than single fill. This dense, tight weave makes numbered duck fabrics a suitable outdoor canvas for many applications. Cotton Duck fabric has been used for centuries and is perfect for historical reproductions, sturdy tote bags and other applications where durability is key.
Double-layer base.
Heavy duty 1 inch 100% cotton handles.
Reinforced flat canvas bottom.
Overlapped seams are double-stitched with nylon so they won’t rot or break.
