Description
Our Shaker Bed Series is built using solid hardwood of your choice, shown here in Vermont Cherry. We use a full 1 inch thick lumber and each post is hand turned. Our beds are finished with a hand rubbed oil and wax, all joints are mortise and tenon pegged with Mahogany pegs. The Shaker Bed is a platform bed with the platform being made with 7/8 inch thick by 4 inch wide solid maple boards. Each bed is custom built to your mattress in thickness, the bed shown is designed for a mattress of 8 inches thick. Our beds head and foot boards connect to the rails using bed bolts for a strong and solid attachment.
